Welcome to Lake Vanare Cabins. We offer a beautiful Adirondack lakeshore setting with a sandy beach and lawn
for sunbathing and relaxing. The lake is private and the fishing is great.
Our cabins are on a quiet lake, yet Lake George
is only 5 miles away. Our comfortable housekeeping
cabins are fully furnished and equipped with blankets and
linens, kitchenware, charcoal grills, picnic tables, etc. You only have to bring
towels. Most of our cabins have screened porches or decks. We have cabins and rates to fit every family and budget.
Some of our cabins are on the lake but all are surrounded by pine trees near
the lake and close to all the activities!
We
have a children’s play area located on the beach.
This is a big hit with children of all ages. The play area consists of a
swing set,
teeter-totter, toy backhoe and (Fort Billy Hank) a unique Fort
for children to play in. We offer a Canoe, Row Boats, Tennis, Basketball,
Shuffleboard, Ping-Pong and Horseshoes and a cozy
fireplace for toasting marshmallows and talking with friends. There is plenty to do right
here on the premises. And all this is FREE of charge to our
customers.
Some attractions in
Lake Luzerne include White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Painted Pony
Rodeo, Hiking and Biking trails, and various lakes to enjoy swimming, fishing and boating.
Lake George
is also very close, only 5 minutes North of us. Lake George is commonly called
The "Queen of American Lakes" for its sparkling beauty. The Lake George
Region is located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York and is the perfect
place to visit, be sure to make a day of it. There are many gift shops, museums,
arcades, restaurants, places to walk or jog, swim, boat, bike or even roller blade.
Enjoy a ride on the elegant Trolley or cruise the entire lake.
Great
Escape, Magic Forest, Wild West Stables, Fun Spot, Pirates Cove and the Aviation Mall
(just to mention a few) are only a short drive. You can get on the Northway for a quick
trip or take Route 9 to view the beautiful scenery and visit several shops along the way.
If you like
the racetrack, Saratoga is only 30 minutes South of us.
Saratoga is
filled with many things to do and attractions to see.
